Binding: Nineteenth-century blind-tooled calf; bound for the Bodleian Library; the gold stamp of the Library on both covers. Manuscript title along the lower edge in brown ink.

Size: 305 × 222 × 33 mm.

Size of leaf: 291 × 198 mm.

Occasional marginal notes, mainly supplementing the text, in a contemporary German hand in brown ink.

Initials, paragraph marks, and underlining of chapter headings are supplied in red; capital strokes in red.

Provenance: Heidelberg, Capuchins, S. Maria Magdalena, 1629(?)–1802; sixteenth-century(?) inscription on [a2r]: ‘Bibliothecae Fratrum Capucinorum Heidelbergae MCCCCXCIIJ', the date on the erasure.
