Remarks: As assigned by Ohly, ‘Reyser', and Polain. Printed in type 2 of the editions ascribed by Ohly to Georg Reyser. A copy in Munich has a rubricator's date of 1477. Pr places one of the Bodleian copies under Strasbourg (Pr 332), the other under Reutlingen (Pr 2678); Sheppard assigned to [Reutlingen: Michel Greyff], and dates [not after 1478], as Bodleian's first copy rubrication is dated 1478.

Binding: Nineteenth-century blind-tooled calf; the gold stamp of the Bodleian Library on both covers. Yellow-edged leaves. ‘H 4' across the fore-edge in brown ink.

Occasional pointing hands in red ink.
Principal initials are supplied in interlocked red and blue; other initials and paragraph marks are supplied in red or blue. On [a2r]: ‘1478 | Incipit Vocabularius iuris utriusque feliciter' in the rubricator's hand in red ink.

Binding: Contemporary German blind-tooled quarter calf over wooden boards. Two catches lost, remains of two clasps. On both covers fillets form a border within which is a repeated foliate staff. Double fillets form the inner rectangle which is divided by further double fillets into triangular compartments, each decorated with a repeated headed-outline tool. The spine is decorated with a repeated ‘Maria' scroll stamp. Manuscript title in brown ink at the head of the upper cover, again in a later hand on a rectangular paper label at the head of the spine.

Size of leaf: 290 × 201 mm.
Pastedowns consist of two unsigned leaves from an unidentified incunable Bible, printed, presumably in Germany, in type 92 G; the front pastedown is Ez 24,20-26,17, the rear pastedown Ez 18,13-20,9.
Manuscript titles in a contemporary and in a later hand on [a1r].
Initials are supplied in red or blue, occasionally with blue or red pen-work decoration; paragraph marks and occasional capital strokes in red.
Provenance: Landsberg, Bavaria, Jesuits; inscription on [a2r]: ‘In usum Collegij Societatis Iesu Landspergae 90 A'. Duplicate from the Royal Library, Munich; ‘Dupl' in pencil on a paper slip inserted into the book. Acquired between 1847 and c.1892, probably in 1850; not in Catalogus (1843) with Appendix.
