Binding: Nineteenth-century half red morocco over red paper; the spine gold-tooled. Yellow-edged leaves.

Size of leaf: 201 × 127 mm.

The title-page woodcut and the printer's device are coloured. Capital strokes in red.

Provenance: F. Heussner (fl. 1857); Catalogue 589. Purchased by Jean de Meyer (1794-1869), for Fr 40 in 1857; see receipt (with catalogue number) pasted on the rear pastedown; sale (1869), lot 328. Sheppard records that this item was purchased in 1870, but it has not been identified in Library Bills.
