Domnolus; 1501 at Chezal Benoît versus orientem, affiliated to St Maur 1636, dispersed 1789-93; in 1797 books and manuscripts transferred to the former Abbaye de la Couture, where soldiers and looters helped themselves to them; extant books and manuscripts now kept in the Bibliothèque municipale; see Cottineau II 1730-1; Chédeville, Liber controversiarum Sancti Vincentii Cenomannensis ou Second Cartulaire de l'abbaye de Saint-Vincent du Mans (Paris, 1968), 17, and at 35-70 for the history of the monastery.
