Milagius, Immanuel Martinus (1598-1657);
entered university of Frankfurt an der Oder 1619, took law degree 1622, lawyer at Zerbst 1623, from 1626 at court of Christian 1 von Bernburg as counsellor and later in other capacities; member of a circle of poets known as `Der Mindernde', with a coat of arms bearing soapwort, and the motto `the spleen'; wrote legal works and a poem about Isaiah published in 1646; see ADB VIII 726-8.
